porn stars

I thought I’d kick off 2008 in suitably provocative and controversial fashion. I’m not ashamed to say I enjoy porn. I’ve been watching blue movies since I was around 13 or 14. I discovered my father’s 70s and 80s Playboy and Penthouse collection much earlier. In fact I got a lot of my sex education from reading Penthouse forum.
A buddy of mine introduced me to hardcore with his father’s stash of Swedish and German magazines which showed stills taken from adult movies. I was about 12 years old. Then a couple of years later with the same friend, along with a couple other mates, watched Garage Girls from 1981, my first hardcore flick. I remember a scene involving a pool table was rather memorable, as was the shower scene.
I’m not addicted to porn, but I do like the taste. I believe that about 90% of the porn produced these days is utter crap. Call me old fashioned, but they just don’t make porn like the used to. These days the performers all look bored or act aggressive. They go through the motions making the whole sex act look depressingly mechanical. There’s no sense of erotica.
This is a generalisation of course, but I honestly feel in despair. Why isn’t the selection of porn available of a higher calibre? Where’s the imagination? Surely there are directors out there, both male and female, who are intelligent enough to combine the raunch with the sensuality? Something that is explicit and arousing, yet doesn’t look like open heart surgery and sports performers who look genuinely turned on.
If there’s one thing I can’t abide in porn are men who aren’t hard and women who aren’t wet.
I like 70s porn because the women were more voluptuous and didn’t look like skinny little girls (I might be considered unfashionable, but I do like a little bush). The men, however, weren’t so attractive. But hey, when there were women like Seka, Annette Haven, Brigitte Maier, Kyoto Sun, Christina Lindberg, Susie Nero, and Vanessa Del Rio doin’ the do, I’m not complaining about the high levels of hirsuteness (on the men that is!)
I discovered the 70s movies a little later. Actually the classic Fantasy from 1979 was my second porn movie and a fabulous one too! But it was 80s porn that I immersed myself in. Sifting with stars like Traci Lords, Amber Lynn, Danielle Rodgers, Savannah, Sandra Scream, Raquel Darian, Zara Whites, Nikki Dial, and the uber-sexy Isis Nile (before she went overboard on the plastic surgery).
Although Jenna Jameson was a delight in her younger years, in the 90s I discovered the wicked allure of Adrianna Sage, Aria Giovanni, Julia Chanel, N’J de Bahia, Anita Blond, Tia Bella, and Dee, amongst others.
These days the net has all but destroyed the art of the porn movie. Amateur sites abound and porn stars all look the same. Sure there are many porn stars who look like supermodels, but they don't perform like true porn stars.
Here is a selection of the female porn stars that floated my boat as a strapping lad and who currently pique my interest from time to time. I’ve included some adult models who don’t actually do hardcore movies, but who definitely warrant inclusion. I’m not bothering with the guys. The only one who intrigued me was Peter “buckets” North. Unless he’s physiologically gifted, I wanna know his secret! Apparently he eats lots of pineapples.
It's a deep pool this one, but my favourite porn star is without a doubt the French/Egyptian Tabatha Cash. She doesn't make movies anymore. C'est la vie. I'm a big fan of adult models Alley Baggett and Katie Fey and Aria Giovanni. Why don't they make the transition?! Amusingly I admire the transition Niki Bellucci has made from Hungarian porn star to Hungarian super DJ (true!). As for the flicks themselves? I don't mind the designer porn of director Andrew Blake. But my favourite porn movie might possibly be Zazel - The Scent of Love starring Gina Vinni, or maybe Kiva's Creme a la Mode, or perhaps Reves de Cuir 2 with Tabatha.

I think there are a lot of really good foreign movies that are better than the churned out porn you see about the place. There's no true eroticism in it. It's bland, and repetitive, and unintelligent, and really only good for a laugh. I have an old one called 'Little Often Annie' that is hilarious!
A good friend and I have often spoken of going into business, producing erotic literature and movies that really do have a story, and sensuality, that isn't all about fake tits and dildos. There is no real (non-subversive or objectifying) place in the market for women.

cheers for popping by ...
I agree, the foreign porn movies are generally much better than the American ones. You don't see any Brit hardcore porn, because you can't sell it there due to censorship laws.
The Dutch and Swedish and French make good porn. The Germans get too filthy though (all that disgusting extremist stuff).
Check out All About Anna. You can buy it through Amazon. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks very interesting. Romantic drama with hardcore sex directed by a woman. It's produced by the same off-shoot company that Lars Von Trier owns.

It's a screen grab from some gutter grade amateur blow-job flick. Such a waste.
