Debate Battle! PORN STARS - VINTAGE BLUE vs. NU SKOOL

Well, it was inevitable I'd end up here. For a male agent provocateur the visual allure of the porn star was always going to be at the end of the line for this man's style of eye. And so here we are, four years down the track and I've reached the point of no return. This is the ultimate union of ocular aesthetics and my own personal indulgences; woman as sex object. I'm not going to make any apologies here. Most red-blooded men will agree with me.

I grew up with my father's secret stash of Penthouse magazines. It wasn't that secret because I found the cache rather easily, on a top shelf in his studio, which happened to be adjacent to my bedroom at the back of the house. I could enjoy the soft-core porn at my leisure. I relished the forum letters and I savoured the pictorials. A few years later during my first year at high school I saw my first porn movie, Garage Girls on VHS. It wasn't long before I had my favourite stars and starlets.

The porn industry has changed dramatically since I first discovered it. My first favourites included 80s stars Racquel Darrian, Sandra Scream, and Amber Lynn. Then I moved back into the 70s and enjoyed the au natural allure of Annette Haven, Seka, and Kyoto Sun. Then I was introduced to Andrew Blake's designer porn of the late 80s and into the 90s. Nowadays there are literally thousands of porn stars. The Internet and the rise of amateur porn saw to that explosion of content. It's impossible to keep up.

So here is my selection of favourite porn stars battling it out; twelve women from from the vintage blue period (70s, 80s, 90s) alternating with twelve girls from the nu skool of porn (the last decade or so). It was hard finding decent pics that weren't hardcore images, so I've opted for photographs that capture the essence of each porn stars allure. Well there you have it. Got wood? There's enough sex appeal here to blow a gasket. Now there are other stars whom I enjoy, but I simply couldn't find a pic that did them justice; the 90s' short-haired minx Vanessa Chase was one, the 80s' Isis Nile (before her terrible boob job) was another, and the 70s' legend Annette Haven was another. My overall favourites are Euroasian French star Tabitha Cash and Hispanic American Adriana Sage. I find their exotic looks so sumptuous. That fiery Anna Ventura pic from an early 80s Penthouse pictorial brings back many sticky memories, and I love that Tori Black I-just-got-shagged-shot (there's definitely something about that pose, it's a photographer's fave), what a vixen!
